The Winter Tracker product balances your price certainty and flexibility. You can agree the price for all your summer gas and a percentage of your winter gas ahead of delivery, whilst retaining the opportunity to benefit from market reflective Day Ahead prices.

How does this product work?

Total Gas & Power offers you the ability to agree the price for the majority of your gas requirements.

The Winter Tracker product also guarantees you access to the truly market reflective Day Ahead market. According to your desire to access the Day Ahead market, you may select a percentage of your forecast winter gas requirements that will be 'floated' at the Day Ahead price each month.

We will calculate your daily consumption during the winter period. Any volume that is priced at the Day Ahead price will be reconciled in May and credited or invoiced accordingly.

Product mechanics

• You agree a 12, 24, or 36 month contract term with us.
• You agree the percentage of your forecast winter gas requirements that you wish to 'float' at the Day Ahead price.
• The account is reconciled after the winter period (October - March) and you could receive a credit or invoice in May for the difference.
