Redhill, UK - January 31, 2007 - Elf Business Energy, one of Britain’s leading suppliers of gas to business
customers is to adopt the brand of its parent company Total Gas & Power. Elf
was the first independent supplier to contract gas for UK markets in 1987, and
has continued to be a market leader and innovator in the UK Industrial and
Commercial energy markets.
From 1st February the business will be branded Total Gas & Power. The
change to the Total Gas & Power brand symbolizes a growing integration with
other parts of the Group. Total Gas & Power’s customers will have the
security and added value of knowing that their supplier is one of the world’s
leading integrated energy companies.

allow the consumer to fix the price for some of their gas consumption ahead
of delivery, and use the daily short-term markets to fix the remainder. Total
Gas & Power also supplies both half-hourly and non-half-hourly electricity to
industrial and commercial consumers, and its share in the electricity market is
